MTB TOUR
FROM NATO BASE TO LE MANIE

DESCRIPTION:

This tour starts at the Ex-Nato Base (1.019 m), a military base that was operational between 1962 and 1992. Now in disuse, it's a starting point for lots of freeride trails S1+ to S3 scale.
​
After 35/40 min with our first shuttle of the day, we will reach the Nato Base where the tour starts, we will take a connection Trail to reach Colla Cravarezza and climb 2 minutes to reach our first Trail of the day - Crestino Trail, a long and flowy Trail with some little jumps (skippable) and berms surrounded by a beautiful forest of beech trees.

After Crestino Trail we will take part of a Gravel Road to reach our next Trail, we can choose between Aia du Preve an S2 level Trail, just a little bit steeper than Crestino but mostly flowy and not too technical or take Supergroppo middle part with a rock garden graded S3 level and proceed our way to Rocche Gianche. 
At Rocche Gianche we will take an easy up and down section called Cà dei Gatti, that takes us down to Vezzi-Portio village, down the road we can add 2 more secret Trails that only a LOCAL GUIDE knows!

From Vezzi-Portio we have the possibility to stop at a LOCAL bar to drink an Italian Espresso or continue our way to LE MANIE Platou cycling for 15/20 minutes and gaining about 110 of altitude worth every meter for a super panoramic view!

From BRIC Dei Monti (410 m.) We will take Andrassa Trail (stage EWS 2016) a loose rocks Trail in the first part and a flow section in the second part.
We are finally at Le Manie Platou where we can head to the last Trail of the day, if the group is not ready for S3 Level we can choose between Ponti Romani Trail an easy S1+ Trail, Briga Left a more rocky and technical Trail graded at S2+ or we can challenge our self with DH Woman or DH Men steep Trails, rocky sections, and loose rocks BUT with a wonderful view on Varigotti Village where after we eventually pedal on the Asphalt to reach the Restaurant in Final Borgo old town of Finale (not included in the price 15/20 EUR per person).
